The Sports and Tennis Centre has been open since September 1996 and has established itself as an affordable, popular and high-quality local facility open to everyone, whatever your age or ability. We’re proud to be friendly, relaxed and fun, while still offering our customers the very best professional service.
Our Location
The Centre’s location on Purbeck Road makes it ideally placed to serve the surrounding residential and business community. You can beat the rush hour and nip in for a pre- or post-work gym session, arrange a lunchtime squash match with a colleague, meet new people through our social badminton sessions or even use the facilities at the weekend with your family or friends.

Y12 students get to use the Gym and other Sports Centre facilities for free all year round. Students can then choose to renew their membership in their second year at the college for £10.
All students must complete a gym induction/disclaimer before using the fitness suite.
It’s important to note that, due to our safeguarding obligations, that the free use of our facilities during college hours is only available to Hills Road Students and they cannot bring on site non-hills road students during these times.
